Wishlist: Lush Ltd. Christmas Edition

As it's now December... I can officially start to think about what I'd like for christmas. I'm not one to dish out lists to my friends and family, but I thought it'd be nice to add a few christmas wishlists to my ever growing "lemming" portfolio!
Let me know if you've tried any of the below - I'm desperate to get my hands on these babies!!
PS: I apologize in advance for the long post! Hey! I've been away for some time, which means, I have some bumper posts for you!

Clockwise from the top left, we have:

-The Lil' Lush Pud. Lush have been making these adorable mini Christmas puddings for over ten years and it's proved to be a favourite amongst us loyal customers. It's a full on christmas fest in there... smelling of marzipan and full of lovely goodies like lemon peel powder, clove powder, aloe vera extract and rose absolute. It'll make you 100% relaxed (due to that lovely Aloe Extract) - perfect for a christmas eve soak? I think so!!

- Satsumo Santa. Firstly, what a cool little santa?! How cute is this fella? I've heard that this makes your bath water bright red, almost as if you're bathing in blood... now I'm no vampire fanatic but even I think there's something quite "Twilight-esque" about that - Is that wierd? Anyway, this contains  mandarin oil, bergamot oil and orange flower absolute, making it the most wonderful christmas bath gift!

- The Golden Wonder Bath Bomb. Oh my goodness, this ballistic contains edible golden glitter and paper stars... it shines gold and blue (my favourite colour) AND it smells like a champagne cocktail. IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER?!?!?!?!?!? I really must try this!

- The Melting Snowman. This little Guy contains all sorts. It's moisturising Cocoa and Shea Butters will leave your skin feeling amazing and it smells like marzipan. Maybe another one that I'll try to eat? (crazy woman).

Again, I'll start at the top and work my way around.

- Three Gold Rings Bubble Bar. How cute is this? (I'm easily pleased I know). I love the way that Lush describe this: "Three Gold Rings is a bath of bling, for days when what you need most is a bit of luxury and a sense that all is well with the world." Don't they just have the most wonderful way with words? Another bubble bar filled with golden glitter - I love them!!

- Candy Mountain... to me, these don't really look christmas-like in the slightest. I guess they are like candy canes with the stripes... but still. They're the wrong colour. I think I'm just drawn to these due to the awesome pink-ness!! They smell like candy floss too - GET IN MA BELLEH! (I know you're not supposed to eat them by the way... honest).

- Gingerbread House. There are no words for how INCREDIBLE I think these are. I literally want to go to my nearest store and buy ALL OF THEM!!!! I've read reviews which say that they small like Lemon and Gingerbread - TO.DIE.FOR.

- And last but by no means least... the incredible and WORLD famous: Snow Fairy!!!!! I've actually never tried this, I feel a little bit deprived if I'm honest. This should be towards the top of my list. Maybe Santa will see how good I've been this year and treat me to this huh?! Apparently it smells of candy floss and pear drops - AMAZEBALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally can't wait to get my hands on some of this.

What're your favourite Lush products?

Wishlist: The Perfume Collective

I've become a little obsessed with perfume lately.
I'm a "sweet smells" lady and love the likes of "Ghost - Sweetheart" and my ultimate favourite, "Dior - Miss Dior Cherie".

I thought I'd compile a list of my "Most Wanted" sniffs and share them with you... with Christmas coming up you'll be seeing more and more of these posts - a girl can dream!!

- First of all, "Flowerbomb" by Viktor and Rolf. I saw this on the beautiful Vivianna's blog and HAD to go and grab a sample from my local Boots... it's divine but extremely expensive, that's always the way isn't it?:

Next, "Sensuous" by Estee Lauder. I love the simplicity of the bottle and the fact that Estee Lauder is my current favourite high-end brand makes them awesome!

My third must have is "Angel" by Thierry Mugler - absolute YUM! One of my best friends uses this when we go out and I love to have a squirt of it when I visit her. Another extrememly expensive perfume, maybe one day eh?!

Number Four on my list,"Daisy" by Marc Jacobs. I love the oversized plastic daisies on the lid, how cute! I bought this for my little sister for her 18th birthday in July but wish I'd gotten one for myself too!

The penultimate perfume on my list is "Juicy Couture" by, you guessed it, Juicy Couture. This bottle has some serious BLING and it'd be the second time I've purchased. The first bottle didn't last long at all!

Finally, one of the most popular perfumes over the last few months... "Lady Million" by Paco Rabanne. I bought this for my second sister in July, another one that I wanted for myself! Maybe I should stop torturing myself by buying smellies for other people when I'd like to keep them instead?!

What're your favourite perfumes at the moment? Any that you'd add to or take away from my list?

Wishlist: Zoya

I've been desperate to get my hands on some Zoya nail polishes recently - I haven't managed to find any in the UK so far and the shipping from America etc. is terribly expensive....

Boo Hoo :o(

Personally I blame the beautiful Cris at "Let Them Have Polish" for this obsession... she always has the most wonderful Zoya posts!!!

To prevent myself from throwing myself off a bridge with Zoya envy, I thought I'd compile a new wishlist, dedicated to Zoya to ensure that my obsession is abated!

Let's start with the new fall collection - "Smoke and Mirrors". I love the pretty moss green and the shimmery pinks - yummy yum yum!!!

Jana (ZP564) - smoky mauve nail polish quartz cream
Petra (ZP565) - smoky eggplant mauve nail polish cream
Codie (ZP566) - smoky brown taupe nail polish cream
Anja (ZP567) - smoky palatinate purple nail polish cream
Cynthia (ZP568) - smoky Prussian blue nail polish cream
Dree (ZP569) - smoky camouflage green nail polish cream

Zoya Nail Polish: Mirrors Collection (metallic nail polish)
Nimue (ZP570) - smoky rich thistle mauve nail polish metallic
Marina (ZP571) - smoky steel blue nail polish metallic
Tao (ZP572) - smoky slate gray nail polish metallic
Yara (ZP573) - sparkly olive green nail polish metallic
Neeka (ZP574) - sparkly amethyst purple nail polish metallic
Jem (ZP575) - sparkly fandango pink nail polish metallic

The Zoya "Touch" collection is also a must have. Look at the lovely nudes - ooooo!!!

To repair my battered nails, I definitely need this baby in my life too. It sounds absolutely amazing!

Zoya Color Lock System Kit Contains:

1 - 8oz Zoya Remove Plus in the Big Flipper Container
1 - 0.5oz Zoya Anchor Base Coat
1 - 0.5oz Zoya Get Even Ridge Filling Base Coat
1 - 0.5oz Zoya Zoya Armor Top Coat
1 - 0.5oz Zoya Fast Drops Polish Drying Drops
1 - 0.5oz Zoya Renew Nail Polish Rejuvinator

I suppose that's it for now... I've tried to tear myself away from the website for now so that I don't go and book flights to America to have a massive Z shopping spree!!!!!

What's your favourite nail polish? Any suggestions for UK sellers would be most welcome.

PS: How many times can I say "Zoya" in one post!?

Wishlist: The Unreachables

I'm currently sat here... on my lunch break.... staring at my screen wondering what on earth I can do to avoid touching any of the work I have piling up, while I should be enjoying a relaxing hour away from everything!

I thought I'd be productive and write a post for you all, I apologise for being so terrible at my blogging lately, things have been so busy that I've only managed one every few days. One of my New year's resolutions was to blog more, I knew I wouldn't be able to stick to them for long!

I'm listening to Keri Hilson's new album at the moment [it's called "No boys allowed"], which is fantastic! I've never been a huge fan but her latest tracks are full of "Girls rock" type lyrics... saying how we should all be independent etc. etc. etc.! It's actually quite motivational! Not that I want to be 10% independent in every way... but when it comes to my career etc. that's exactly the attitude I think I should have.

Maybe I'm wrong? Hmmm...

I've taken some time to compile a short wishlist. I'm not all about the material things in life, and I'd have to win the lottery to own some of the gorgeous things I'm currently pining after, I just thought it would be cool to put my "wishlist" out there... maybe you could compare mine to yours?

Here we go...

Number one:

A pair of Louboutins:

Every girl should have at least one HUGELY overpriced pair of shoes... and I'm particularly in love with the above pair from the new season. And... Mr Louboutin's website is pretty darn cool, check it out here.

Number Two:

An Audi S3. Now, the likelihood of me EVER getting one of these is pretty slim, but I am a closet petrol head and I love pretty cars like this! I love it... *oooooo shiny*

Number Three:

A nice trip to the bahamas! I haven't had a proper holiday abroad since in was 12 [THAT'S 8 YEARS!!!!] and I'm desperate for sun sea and sand. I don't think I've had a tan for a very long time!

Number Four:

This is one that is a little bit more reachable. I've been a huge fan or the Kerastase hair masques for a whole 5 years and have only used them twice! The salon I used to work in stocked the products and I was crazy for them. This is still a little out of my price range at the moment [pah! And as if the others are within my price range... nawwwwwwt] but I will get there in the end!!!! Ooooo luscious locks ahoy!

Number Five:

[Wow - this is one hell of a wish list!!!]

An SLR camera. I've got my eye on the Canon 1000d and have heard nothing but fantastic reviews about it! I'm a very keen photographer and have been without a proper camera for almost a year! They're all so bloody expensive so I've had to use my phone! Considering I now have an iPhone 4 -- you can imagine how terrible the pictures are! I can't wait to get this baby so that I can do some creative shoots!

Number Six:

I'm an avid reader and am obsessed with Robin Hobb at the moment. She writes the most incredible stories and has a grand total of 4 trilogies out at present. I've been borrowing the books one by one from my lovely friend Jess, but it's going to take me forever to gain each and every one for myself! I'd love to have the full collection one day! I'd also like the whole collection of Twilight books [yes... I'm that sad]. Team Jacob all the way RAWR!

Number Seven:

A Tiffany charm bracelet. I know these are pretty common and there are a tonne of fakes out there, but I've always wanted one of these! The boxes are so pretty!!! And I know I'd wear it EVERY day if I had one...

Number Eight:

A Mulberry clutch bag, they are without a doubt, some of the most gorgeous bags I've ever seen!!!
One day I'll get there...

Wishlist: Lush Ltd.

I thought I'd share my current 'Lush' wishlist with you -- After my Limited Edition Lush Ballistic experience last night, I am totally and utterly hooked!

I had THE perfect bath with a ballistic that somebody (oh so kindly) purchased as my secret santa gift last week... I must say, this is potentially the best secret santa prezzie I've ever recieved as, even though I've never tried a 'lush' product myself (yet), I have been one of their biggest fans after spending many a Saturday afternoon in my local store (Bath - Somerset) oogling at and drooling over their incredible products...

The smell... ooooooh the heavenly store smell... It might even smell better than the Body Shop does [*GASP*] - Did I just say that? Did I just say that something might (MIGHT) be better than my beloved Body Shop?????

Anyway... the bath was perfect... complete with my favourite book of the moment ['Assassin's Appretice' by Robin Hobb] and a few gawjus candles! I haven't been so relaxed for weeks and I really needed it!
Here's a few snaps...

I'll explain the kitten bookmark in a future post -- basically -- I have an obsession with all things cute, little and fluffy... I'm desperate for a pet cat at the moment so cat's/kitten's in particular are at the head of my top ten animal list...

Moving swiftly on...

Now that my bathtime friend (the ballistic) is all used up, I've created [a somewhat boring] Lush wishlist... which I will purchase as soon as humanly possibly (maybe I could also drop a few light hints to my other half, friends and family that gifts of this kind will be welcome???)

I apologise in advance, I did want to add pictures of each product but I'm afraid my picture inserter thingy-ma-bob has decided to throw a paddy and stop working. Instead I shall post links... Here goes:

First up we have the "Cinders" ballistic, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about this, but I have also heard that it makes your bathwater look like peepee? Hmmm interesting...

Next, the "Mrs Whippy"... The Soya milk powder within the ballistic softens the water and makes it slightly milky, which softens your body. MMMMMMM it looks good enough to eat - Scrumcious!

There's also a selection of gift sets that I think are delightful... I wont drone on about them too much but here's my favourite:http://www.lush.co.uk/products/christmas-gifts-2010/20--30/bathtime_favourites_tin_861.html

I apologise for the "hyperlink heavy" post, I just HAD to write about these... I feel I might cave in and purchase the whole Lush store as soon as I get paid!

How yummy!!!!!!!!!

:) x
