Haul: Vivo Cosmetics

This is kind of old news to all you fellow beauty bloggers by now... but yes, Tesco have released a beauty range named Vivo - and it's actually pretty darn good!

I purchased my collection of Vivo goodies the day after the products were launched in September - it's taken an awfully long time to get round to showing them to you. *oops*!!

You can't see it much in these pictures (I stupidly took them after swatching) but the "baked" products almost look similar to the MAC MSF's. They're beautifully pearly, without too much shimmer!

"Peaches and Cream" Blush: £4.00

"Rosy" Blush: £4.00

"Rouge Shimmer" Blush: £4.00

For some reason I didn't swatch the bronzer. I think it made my hand look totally orange. I'm so pale that it doesn't really look right...

They also offer some wonderful blush and shadow palettes. The colours are highly pigmented and also have the "mini MSF" look. I would definitely recommend these!

These retail for around £6.00 each.

I also use a Vivo eyebrow kit at the moment, which I'm beyond impressed with. This will be featured in a future post so I won't duplicate the review.
Vivo also have foundation, highlighters, lipsticks and individual eyeshadows, blushes and much more in their range - I've not even scraped the surface with this!!

Have you used any of their "stuff" so far? What do you think?

Haul: False Lash and Budget Make up Loves

Yep, another one - I think I'm out of control at the moment, when it comes to shopping!

I'm a very lucky girl as I've been able to treat myself this month!!!

After a long long wait, that Estee Lauder lipstick is finally mine! Pure colour, sensuous Rouge!! Smells like White chocolate - it's divine!
I also decided that it's finally the time for me to invest in a Proper Foundation.

I've now moved from my trusty Maybelline Matte Mousse over to the dream that is Estee Lauder Double Wear!

*Cue heavenly music - AHHHHH*

Loving this in "bone". It's the perfect shade for my extremely pale skin and I love the full coverage! I'm not confident that it really lasts a full day, its had the ultimate test during a 16 hour working day... Definitely an improvement on the mousse though!

I've been coveting this lipstick for months and finally purchased as a 21st birthday present to myself (yay)! I'll be saving this baby for my night out in Cardiff on Saturday!

What do we have next... Oh, I went a bit mental on the false lash front - my collection has now reached (and passed) the 50 pair mark. I'm slightly ashamed to admit that!

I couldn't decide! So I got a day pair, evening pair and full on HUGE night out pair, which will also be saved for Saturday!

These are my favourites - I've never been interested in the Girls Aloud lashes until I spotted these! They look so natural and delicate.

(swatched - badly)

Next I made full use of my Boots £5 off No.7 voucher and grabbed this blusher in number 12 - Coral Flush.

I think it's beautiful, I only need to use the tiniest bit else I look like a clown... But it's wonderfully pigmented and I'm sure it'll last forever! Not bad for £4.00 eh?!

I think I went a bit overboard on the eye products this time... Meet my new 17 mascaras!
After reading a review by Fee over at Make Up Savvy, I knew I had to pick up one of these awesome leopard print mascaras!

I've not tried it yet as I've been completely obsessed with this pink beast!

Falsifeye by 17 is amazing! I love the chunky mascara brushes and this works like a dream - so impressed 17!!

Also an idea stolen from Fee - you can get this 17 palette FREE when you buy any two 17 products in Boots. Great deal!

Sorry for the lack of swatches of this one... I promise the eyeshadows at the top are beautiful - the pink one in particular is very similar to one from Sleek's "Oh so special" palette.

After using the sheer lipstick in this palette (bottom right) I HAD to buy the full size lippy!
It's the perfect colour (called Belle) and is almost the same as my lips - but better!

What a Dream - and for only a few pounds!!

(swatched - badly again, sorry!)

What else can I show you? Hmmmm...

I picked up these lipglosses...

The Maybelline Coloursensational Cremegloss is a dream - totally un-sticky and so shiny!!

The Barry M limited edition gloss was free in Boots when purchased with an Impulse body spray (not photographed, sorry) and it smells AMAZING!!! Like sweeties!

Not sure what this shade is called though, it doesn't seem to say - someone correct me please.

:o)

Just a couple more things.

To fuel my nail varnish addiction, a top coat by Nails Inc (did you know they stocked Nails Inc in Boots?!?! How fab!) which dries in 45 seconds - it actually works and for £6.50 I should think so too!

I picked up my favourite day perfume as another birthday treat to myself. The beautiful "sweetheart" by Ghost

And that's it!!!! I hope I've not bored you all too much - would you like to see more posts like this?

Haul: Boots Various - Estee Lauder and Benefit

I definitely have a shopping/make up addiction - I blame my workmate Lil - she's like the devil on my shoulder... she says things like "go on, treat yourself" and "that's so nice!!! Why don't you get it?"

I'll be honest, she's the best shopping partner as we're equally mental about make up and nail polish! Woohoo!

I've vowed not to step foot in Boots again for a long long long time, this is what happens!

My first Batiste product, wonder if it'll work for my hair seeing as it's so black! I'm worried it'll still be all powdery!

I couldn't resist the Barry M nail polishes, Peach Melba (middle) is my new favourite and I managed to get my free Nails Inc polish in "Havana" with 2 Dove deodorants.

I have two new lipsticks to review some time too, they were in the clearance section (idea from Fee at Make up Savvy - you GENIUS!!!!) and I managed to get them for 50p EACH - BARGAIN ALERT!!!!! I'm beyond chuffed with that purchase!

I'll do a proper post on these products once I've had a chance to use them for a few weeks. I got the "Get Started Now" kit from Estee Lauder as I'm in love with their products, also managed to swipe a "Double Wear" foundation sample in "bone" and an "idealist" sample - wehey!

The kit contains:
Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex
DayWear Plus Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 for Normal/Combination Skin
Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex
Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser, 30ml

My first benefit haul! I've been coveting the Boi-ing industrial strength concealer for some time now and my friends have really noticed a difference since I've been using it! I have suitcases under my eyes rather than bags.. the dark circles are HUGE and nothing shifts them, even this isn't strong enough but it's a massive improvement!

I got a Benefit velvet eyeshadow... I think the name of this is "bikini line" - although that doesn't sound right... is that right?

This is a subtle gold/yellow and is perfect for light "office" make up!!

YAY!!!!

As a benefit "newb" - can anyone recommend more products?

Haul: O.P.I and China Glaze

OBSESSED is my word of the month.

Nail polish is where it's at - OH YEAH!

I've been a little crazy with the whole OPI and China Glaze obsession and I'm thinking I should have laid off with the buying - i suppose it makes for a good haul post - even if I am broke as a result of it!

My China Glaze haul contains the following:

From left to right:
- "Recycle"
- "Cracked Concrete" Crackle Glaze
- "Lightening Bolt" Crackle Glaze
- "Innocence"

I also purchased a top coat with the rest of my OPI polishes!

From left to right:
- China Glaze "Fast Forward Top Coat"
- OPI "Skull & Glossbones"
- OPI "Stranger Tides"

The OPI "Pirates of the Caribbean" range is a firm favourite of mine, hopefully I'll have the full collection soon. You may remember from a recent post that my beloved OPI "Skull & Glossbones" polish died a horrible death at the hands of my Mum and Dad's kitchen floor - this is my second bottle and I'm being VERY careful with it!!!

My last OPI polishes are here - LOVE THEM!

From left to right:
- OPI "Planks A Lot"
- OPI "Over The Taupe"

What're your favourite OPI and China Glaze products? Any recommendations?

Haul: E.L.F Madness

I love haul posts... I don't know about you guys, but I love seeing what others are spending their hard earned pennies on. I guess it's the "nosy person" inside of me!

I'm afraid mine isn't all that interesting, just a little ELF haul, I did also get a whole load of new brushes (think there was 11 in my package) but I forgot to photograph them - I'll put these in a future post!!!!

At the time of my order, there was a promotion running to get 10 free eyeshadow quads with any order over £20.00 - of course I made full use of this!!!!!

Firstly, The everyday eyes beauty encyclopedia is a handy little palette with full instructions for the "everyday eye" look on the inside cover. The palette includes:

12 pressed powder eyeshadows

2 cream eyeshadows

1 eyeliner (Black)

1 eyeshadow brush

Surprise, surprise - nail varnishes! I can't remember what each of these colours are called, however, I will be reviewing them individually. I seem to be sticking with neutral tones at the moment... apart from the coral colour on the end - can't wait to try them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are my 10 free eyeshadow quads - there are some beautiful colours in there, I was so impressed! The packaging is pretty plain, I would have preferred the black pots they usually use, and I was missing an eyeshadow applicator from two of them - other than that, a brilliant freebie!!!!!!

The "Cool bronzer palette". This is my first bronzer set, I don't ever wear bronzer or "contour", I usually just wear blush, but I'm determined to learn and this is one of the bigger steps towards shaking up my make up routine!!
I was a little disappointed to see that the colours had merged in some places rather than being completely separate, but they're all really natural looking and you can't go wrong for £3.50 right?

And that's it!! (Actually... I did also get some brush shampoo) - all spent up!!! Still trying to think of something else I can purchase, literally in LOVE with ELF right now!!
What're your favourite ELF products? What do you think of the quality?

Haul: Liz Earle

I recently made my first ever purchase from Liz Earle (*yay* go me!!) after months of torturing myself over positive review after positive review, I finally got there!

I've been dying to get my hands on a whole load of their products, all of which I've heard nothing but incredible things about! One of which, as I'm sure you can guess, was the Hot Cloth Cleanser... I was so excited when this arrived!!!

The packaging was so cute, they left me a little message and even included a free bottle of tonic! This really made my day!

I took a few pictures and thought you might like to have a little nosy at what I invested my hard earned pennies on!!

How brilliant is their logo? I'd never really looked at it before now and it's genius! They sent me a full portfolio of their products and a price list, along with "how to" guides... so helpful!

Only thing is... now I want to buy everything!

Here's what I received:

Please excuse my sideways pictures - how unprofessional of me *slaps hand hard* - I'll sort it out when I get home - honest!!

The peppermint foot refreshing spray is fantastic, and I'm not just saying that! It does exactly what it says on "the tin" and I've also converted my Mum to be a Liz Earle obsess-er because of it.

I've been using the Cleanse and Polish for 3 days now - I've already noticed a huge difference. My pores seem tighter and where I've had the odd blackhead (oooo gross - sorry) they've totally disappeared.
My face feels completely clean and it removes make up like a dream, even my waterproof mascara!

My skin is soft as a babies bottom after using this, followed by the tonic. All I need now is a moisturiser!

I can't wait to see the results when I've used this bottle up!

What's your favourite Liz Earle product? Any recommendations?

Haul: E.L.F - My first

My E.L.F [Eyes Lips Face] order arrived today...

It was a total disaster from order to delivery! I sent two angry emails after the promised delivery period of 5 days turned into 10 days... with no response whatsoever. I think they may have just put it out for delivery again, and maybe on 1st class, as two days after the second email it was waiting for me at home when i returned from work.

Anyway, it's here now and I'm extremely happy with my purchases!!!

My 1st E.L.F haul consists of the following:

- Eye Shadow Palette in 'Natural' - £3.50
- Dual pencil sharpener - £1.50
- Eyeliner Brush - £1.50
- Eye Shadow Brush - £1.50
- Eye Crease Brush - £1.50
- Eyelid Primer - £1.50
- Eyebrow Kit in 'Medium' - £3.50
- Brush Case - £5.00

I've not tried the products yet and I promise that when I do try them out, I'll write up a full review with swatches of the colours included. I have more on the way so will also post some photos when/if the delivery ever arrives!

So excited!

:) x
