I've always had an obsession with books, recently it seems to have spiraled and I'm left with over 40 books which I'm yet to read.
I love having collections of books or multiple books by the same author on my shelves and I've learned to recognise the genres which are best suited to me.
I've always loved biography, auto-biography and comedy but lately, I've also discovered fantasy. Books by the likes of Robin Hobb and George R.R. Martin have become firm favourites of mine.
These are just a select few of my newest books - I still haven't read a single one of them!!
I'm particularly excited about "One Day", I'll watch the film once I've read the book.
Me and the Other Half LOVE Where's Wally - hence the yellow book above, please excuse the sadness!
Do you have any books you're dying to read?
im out of the loop with books - but im off on holiday on friday - i need to get me some to read xx

You'll enjoy One day. You sound like me, I have so many books that I have never read. I think I just like the look of them on my book shelf :) xx
ReplyDelete@Meredith Paige, thank you so much!!!! That really does mean an awful lot to me :o)
ReplyDelete@Sunny Sweet Pea, I'm glad it's not just me. I just seem to have zero control when it comes to buying books!!

I just read 3 books by Robin Hobb and truly enjoyed them Assassin's Apprentice, Royal Assassin, and Assassin's Quest. I'm about to start Fool's Errand because it picks up the story 15 years after Assassin's Quest ends, and I just loved the characters so, especially the enigmatic Fool.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do wish I read The Rain Wild Chronicles prior to The Farseer Trilogy since locations from Rain Wild books appear in the Assassin books :) I'm all about chronological order, but I think I'll have to make an exception in this case :)
Hey @Lucy, it's great to hear you're such a Robin Hobb fan!!! You should read the Liveship Traders trilogy before the Tawny Man trilogy hun, thats the one in between.
ReplyDeleteI just have 3 books left to get, that's the Soldier Son trilogy - I've read them but haven't bought them myself Yet!
I could talk about these books for hours - arghhhh!!!
I will admit, I wish I'd read the Rain Wild chronicles first, but they're still on my list! The fool is my favourite too!
